Description

The Corporate Communication Manager is responsible for working alongside the CEO of flyadeal providing strategic Communications support day-in, day-out, working across all of flyadeal’s functional areas, and working shoulder-to-shoulder with a highly motivated team who want to disrupt the airline industry in Saudi Arabia.


Key Responsibilities

  • Create, implement and manage comprehensive communication strategies aligned with the company's goals and objectives.
  • Maintain network of Communication Agencies and advisors in markets where required to support strategy.
  • Maintain a 12-month pipeline of activities, releases, partner events and interviews to ensure flyadeal’s market visibility.
  • Formulate media releases and oversee subsequent revisions as needed.
  • Conduct media briefings and serve as the company spokesperson during interactions with the media.
  • Manage relationships with media outlets and journalists.
  • Coordinate with internal teams and external vendors for successful event execution.
  • Oversee sponsorship program/Attend sponsorship events.
  • Develop and implement crises communication plans to mitigate reputation risks.
  • Work closely with key stakeholders to understand the message aims properly.
  • Ensure messaging coherence and resonance with the designated target audience.
  • Foster a collaborative and creative work environment.
  • Manage and lead a team, priorities and workloads to ensure the Communications function operates at maximum efficiency within deadlines.
  • Develop and ensure achievement of Communications cost budgets including close co-ordination of activity with other key departments where appropriate.


Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in business, aviation management, or a related field, advanced degrees preferred.
  • Exceptional AR and EN writing and ready skills
  • Minimum 5 years of experience of commercial/marketing experience with a successful track record in a PR/Communications management role.
  • Experienced representing the organization to internal and external constituents, including but not limited to media, partners and vendors, employee associations and community groups.
  • Knowledge of the travel (airlines, hotels), service (mobile, banks) or dynamic fast-moving consumer goods environments a major advantage.
  • Knowledge of airline operations, regulations, and industry trends.
